Persona MX
Persona is a course consisting of 6 sessions taking place over 2 days in Mexico City during the MACO Art Fair.
Part nuts-and-bolts workshop, part mystical adventure, PERSONA lends a greater clarity towards long-term visions as well as a greater capacity to make use of relevant, practical tools. Beyond a typical professional development curriculum, the goal of PERSONA is to provide a foundation for participants to develop a cumulative model for success built on small, achievable steps within a broad vision of personal and professional achievement and artistic transformation.
A persona is a mask. Literally, “persona” means “to sound through” and at root refers to masks used in the theater. For Art & Context, “personification” means to identify one's masks and public persona, in order to possess them and put them to use. Personification includes elements of business development, professional-skill building and public relations, as well as mythologizing, visioning, and introspection.
